Any organisation that has a significant role in providing library or information services to a specific user constituency or to the general public would benefit from joining LISC.
What are the benefits of joining LISC?
As a LISC member, you:
- Have the chance to contribute to an organisation that uses its influence at government level and with individual institutions to promote high standards of service in all sectors; public, academic and government libraries and information services in the commercial and voluntary sectors.
- Have a choice of forums to join which reflect a range of specialist interests and provide opportunities for professional development, co-operation and the exchange of good practice.
- Will receive a regular newsletter and have access to an informative website to keep you up to date with developments in the sector.

How much does LISC membership cost?
Subscriptions are on a sliding scale, depending on the size of your organisation’s library and information resources budget. Here are the rates:
