Training and Research Panel

The Training & Research panel is concerned with the development of generic skills and knowledge throughout the profession in Northern Ireland. It also carries out appropriate research into matters pertaining to library services.

In recent years the panel has largely been concerned with issues relating to the restoration of professional education within the province and it is hoped that new courses of study in Librarianship will soon be available through the University of Ulster.
