Youth and Education
The Youth and Education Working Party operates within the following terms of reference:

- To encourage and promote good practice in library and information provision to children and young people.
- To give consideration to emerging developments, policies and reports relating to library and information services for children and young people and to draw up responses and recommendations for action for LISC approval.
- To monitor the development of school libraries since the dissemination of the 2003 School Library Guidelines.
